Will my toads benefit from the antioxidants in green tea if I have them bathe in cold green tea?

Note: Toads do NOT drink with the mouth. They absorb through the skin. Therefore a toad sitting in brewed green tea which has been cooled to room temperature they will in effect be drinking the green tea.

I can't imagine in the wild toads would have access to green tea so I doubt sitting in cold green tea would benefit them at all and may well harm them.

Antioxidants Boost Metabolism?

I actually have several questions,

What is a simple way of understanding what Antioxidants are?

How much can Antioxidants boost the Metabolism?

Estimate how many more calories would you burn daily if you drank 1 bottle of green tea?

If you drink 2 bottles of green tea do you burn more calories becaue there are more Anioxidants in your system? Or has your metabolism already taken effect and won't boost anymore?

Is it a fact Antoxidants always boost metabolism or is it a sometimes event?

What other health benefits come from drinking Antioxidants?

Antioxidants basically neutralize free radicals in your body by providing them with the electron they are missing (remember chemistry class). Free radicals are dangerous to have in your body because they are missing an electron. They float around your body looking to steal an electron from something. If it steals it from a healthy cell, there is a chance that the cell will mutate (that can cause a number of bad things, including cancer). Antioxidants have an extra electron. When an antioxidant meets a free radical, it gladly gives its extra electron thereby rendering it harmless. I don’t know if it will boost your metabolism or not, but getting plenty of antioxidants is critical for long term helth.

Sources of antioxidants:
There are many sources of antioxidants, but ounce for ounce nothing has more antioxidant power than the acai berry from Brazil. Check out the clinical study:
