Dry Skin Eye

Dry looking skin under my eye?

I have this dry looking spot under my eye. I usually put this cream on my face for dry skin, but when i put it on this spot it actually burns!! and it just hurts occasionally. Any suggestions? (other than visiting my dermatologist!)
